Yes, one year ago today I pooped my pants.

Today, I just had a really awesome day! I woke up, got a glimpse at the sunrise, listened to worship music, and enjoyed reading my bible. It was my roommate’s birthday so, we sang her Happy Birthday! What a wonderfully awesome morning!

After getting to AIM it was my first day of a professional class and identity course. I am excited to see where both classes take me this semester. Then I enjoyed my FREE lunch because someone had blessed me with leftovers from the weekend!

In the afternoon I started getting trained in what my apprenticeship is going to look like, beginning to get the ins and outs of programs here in the World Race office where I am learning how things are structured and organized just makes my heart happy!!

I have only been in Georgia for 12 days now and already needed to get my flat tire fixed and the man did a complementary service. WHAT? THANK YOU! Not only did he fix the tire, he switched the spare and put it back under my car. He told me to have a nice day and spread the word of his business!

Then it was my roommates birthday party at non-other than the local Mexican restaurant with the best salsa you can find. Then,we came home to The Farm, for girl hangout time just sitting in the living room laughing at talking for what seemed like a few hours. This was just an amazing day God had blessed me with as an example of what time is going to look like in Gainesville.

As I sat down to journal my awesome day I decided to flip over to see what I was doing on the World Race at this same time just one year ago. It was surprisingly funny to me to go back in my calendar and see that I had written, “pooped my pants” on the journal entry.

That day was one of my harder days my first month of the race. I had the start to a stomach bug and pooping my pants was just going to be the beginning of being in bed for a few days. He wanted me to sit in his beauty and really learn to seek truth, have trust for those around me and overall see transformation for the year to come.

Today was awesome but in so many ways it is just like what life was one year ago. I have moved to a new place, have a new community and overall am putting into practice the lesson God taught me of just being vulnerable in seeking truth, trust those God has placed around me and know that He is going to transform me from my time here. All I can say is pooping my pants is just a reminder of the complete transformation God gave me this past year!
